Freeland Hall Information

The Freeland Hall is available for various public occasions and parties. This recently renovated Whidbey Island historical site has a panoramic view of Holmes Harbor with lovely waterfront grounds, making it a very desirable location for your outdoor or indoor event.

The hall has an approximate 40'x60' floor space, a full sized stage with ample side wings large enough for a band, a performance or a DJ. The occupancy of the hall is 250. The hall has a handicap accessible ramp to the main entrance. (See schematic drawing) Pictures of selected items.

If alcohol is served a banquet permit must be purchased at a Washington State Liquor Store.

The hall provides:
    24 - 72" diameter white plastic tables that seat max. 10
    20 - 30"x96" tables that seat 10
    12 - 48" round tables that seat 5-6
    2 - utility tables
    120 - white wooden padded folding chairs
    100 - padded stacking chairs (indoor use only)
    1 - 14' ladder
    3 - stage benches
The county approved kitchen is equipped with:
    2 - 30" gas stoves, each having four top burners and a large oven
    1 - 6 compartment cooler
    1 - 6.5 cu. ft. freezer
    1 - commercial dishwasher
    1 - 80 gallon propane hot water heater
    3 - deep water sinks
    1 - hand washing sink
    1 - microwave
    2 - 100 cup coffee percolators
    3 - 45 cup percolators
    8 - plastic dish tubs
    2 - rolling utility carts
    Multiple work surfaces

For your hall needs, a janitorial closet contains brooms, dust mops, vaccum cleaner, mop and bucket and a separate janitorial sink.

The delightful ambiance of Freeland Hall is further enhanced by five cables running across the ceiling covered with strands of white twinkle lights. Side wall sconces add additional lighting variety.

On the deck there are three automatic awnings over each set of french doors.
